The conference focused on advanced technologies in intensive care, from innovative monitoring to artificial intelligence for clinical decision support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ICCAI is the annual meeting of the <strong>Society for Complex Acute Illness (SCAI)<\/strong>, an interdisciplinary scientific society bringing together clinicians, experimental scientists, and computational modelers to advance the understanding of complex acute illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both researchers contributed to the session <strong>\u201cCardiovascular Modeling: towards Next-Generation Monitoring.\u201d<\/strong> Riccardo Barbieri presented <strong>\u201cClinical Decision Support Systems for hemodynamic support in the ICU: current perspectives and future directions,\u201d<\/strong> discussing current approaches and future opportunities for supporting hemodynamic management in critically ill patients.
