The project COVIDSQUARED (automatic COmputation of cardioVascular arrhythmIc risk from ECG data of COVID-19 patients) will start the next 1st of July. It’s a project selected from the FISR 2020 call funded by the Italian  Ministry of Health.

Prof. Luca Mainardi is partner of the project. He is the leader of Politecnico di Milano research unit. The objective is to develop computational methods to extract ECG related biomarkers associated to COVID infection and to assess the risk of arrhythmic events in COVID patients, including those events induced by the therapy. The project will develop a cloud infrastructure to share ECG data collected by the clinical centres during the pandemic.
