This month Marion Helene Andree Taconné officially start INSIGHT-LV, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship project.
INSIGHT-LV (INnovative risk Stratification of heart faIlure throuGH explainable machine learning and compuTational modeling of Left Ventricle) aims to improve cardiovascular risk prediction by enhancing the evaluation of left ventricular function through multimodal data integration and explainable AI.
The project focuses on two high-risk heart failure populations: hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and COVID-19 patients, with the goal of supporting more accurate stratification and personalized treatment strategies.
By combining ECGs, MRIs, echocardiography, and genetic data with computational modeling and machine learning, INSIGHT-LV seeks to contribute to more robust and clinically relevant diagnostic tools.
She will be working within the B3Lab, under the supervision of Prof. Luca Mainardi and Prof. Valentina Corino.
